Insulation

Understand where insulation may help and what needs assessment in your home.

Why consider this upgrade?

  • Explore ways to improve comfort in hot or cold weather.
  • Review the condition and coverage of existing insulation.
  • Consider insulation alongside draught proofing and heating needs.

What needs checking?

  • Existing insulation, coverage and access.
  • Roof, wall or floor construction and condition.
  • Electrical, moisture and ventilation issues requiring professional attention.
A professional inspection is needed. Provide only details you already know; do not enter roof spaces to gather information.

BooST support

Eligible households can receive up to $2,000 towards approved home energy upgrades, after other government rebates and subsidies. GST and any mandatory scheme co-payment are not covered. The maximum is shared across approved categories; any unused amount is forfeited.

Products and brands

HP Energy provides three product quotes to help you compare suitable options. The team will check the work required and installer availability. Choose “I know what I want” in the questionnaire to record a preferred brand or model; availability, suitability and subsidy eligibility will be checked for your circumstances.
